In 2006, we began this special nonprofit organization for Darlington County, SC. Our mission is to enhance the lives of children in the area by investing in social change and breaking down economic barriers. The most important thing we try to teach the kids, by helping them, is to always give back to others because there is always someone, somewhere in worse conditions than yourself.We began by organizing donations to help young students with school supplies. Since this beginning, we have grown to include a christmas gifts program, two community clothing closets, a program to help feed children when home from school, a gardening program, and a program to send children home over the summer with much needed items. The children we help are selected by not only school officials, but also churches who witness a child in need. As of today, we help 23 schools that house 11,000 kids.Our programs have only succeeded due to the kindness of the people in our community. Please take the time today to become one of those local heroes. If you do not have the time to participate in a program, monetary donations are greatly appreciated. Again, we are a non-profit organization, meaning every bit of what we receive is passed on to the kids.Thanks for all your help!
