Pups and Pals
Within our Pups and Pals program, children learn how to care for the animals at the Darlington Humane Society. Through this, the kids begin to form trusting relationships. This program also helps develop empathy, trust, respect, sensitivity, personal responsibility, self control, self worth and self esteem.The kids will begin to understand the concepts of a positive feedback cycle: when the child treats the animal well, the animal gives them more attention. This program takes place on Tuesday's twice a month.
